Project Brief :“This bungalow has a very manicured landscape and there is only lawn everywhere. I love to stay in the forest” the client whispered, pointing at the hill behind. That was enough to understand the client’s requirements and design. The client wanted the landscape to be completely in harmony with the surroundings.
Design proposal:The strength of this site was its soil quality and its proximity to hill ecology. There was a huge scope in extending this ecology around the bungalow. As per the client’s requirement, choosing the native plant material was one of the most essential decisions. The productive garden was given importance to considering the client’s liking towards gardening and ecology. The Party lawn, however, was designed with few shrubs giving visual character to the space as a whole.
